Purpose
These terms govern the use of MarginWard, a margin-analytics tool that joins your language-model costs with your Stripe revenue.
Service description
The service reads your data read-only and estimates a per-customer margin. It is a decision-support tool: the figures shown are not an accounting record and may include approximations (exchange rates, models with no known price).
Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential.
Subscriptions and payment
The service offers a free plan and paid plans (Starter, Growth and Scale). Current prices — monthly or annual (annual billing is discounted), shown in US dollars (USD) — are listed on the home page. As the publisher benefits from the French VAT exemption (article 293 B of the French Tax Code), no VAT is added: the displayed price is the total amount due.
Payment is made by card through Stripe, a secure payment provider; the publisher never stores your card details. Subscriptions are charged in advance and renew automatically: monthly plans each month, annual plans each year.
You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (the current month for a monthly plan, the current year for an annual plan), with no pro-rata refund.
Important: on cancellation or downgrade, usage history beyond the new plan's (or the free plan's) retention window is permanently deleted. Export your data first if needed (Settings → Export).
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer (a natural person acting outside any professional activity), you are in principle entitled to a fourteen (14) day withdrawal period, without having to give reasons.
However, MarginWard is digital content/services supplied immediately. By requesting immediate access, you expressly consent to performance beginning before the end of the fourteen-day period and expressly acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). This consent and waiver are collected before payment; once access is opened, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised.
Legal guarantees
Regardless of any commercial warranty, consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, applicable to digital content and services) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
To invoke these guarantees, contact us at hello@marginward.com.
Your obligations
You agree to use the service lawfully and to process, through the service, only data for which you have a legal basis.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for business decisions made on the basis of the indicators provided.
Data and ownership
You remain the owner of your data. The publisher retains ownership of the software and brand.
Consumer mediation
In the event of a dispute, please first contact us at hello@marginward.com so we can seek an amicable solution.
Failing an amicable resolution, and in accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any consumer may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator the publisher is affiliated with: CM2C — Centre de Médiation de la Consommation des Conciliateurs, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France. Online: https://www.cm2c.net — litiges@cm2c.net — +33 1 89 47 00 14.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
